“In September of 2004, Sun City Girls were asked to play at the Experience Music Project in Seattle as part of the Bumbershoot Festival. Sub Pop had recently approached SCG for a possible “best of” record release. Audience members included Sub Pop executives, families with strollers, etc. For some reason, SCG were never invited back.”classic
